Endless MX-72 pads for StopTech ST-40

Special order from Japan Endless MX-72 for StopTech ST-40. They came in the Ewig (Endless brand for imports) box. I believe this is the 3rd set in the US and all 3 sets have been for Nissans.

Sold: Axxis Ultimates for StopTech ST-40

Axxis Ultimate is a kevlar- and ceramic-strengthened compound which offers far and away the best price to performance ratio currently available in a high-performance street pad. Proper bedding procedure is critical to the performance of this pad, but once complete, you can expect truly world-class bite, MOT, minimal rotor and pad wear, and very low noise levels. Dust production is medium-to-high. On front-engine platforms, the Ultimate is excellent for aggressive street and autocross use in the front calipers. It also works very well in the rear, for applications ranging from aggressive street to moderate track use. Ultimate is NOT recommended for use on road courses in front calipers as this can cause uneven pad deposition on rotors as well as resultant vibration. Street and autocross use only. OK for club-level track use in rear calipers.

Nissan GT-R laps Nurburgring in 7 minutes 29 seconds

http://www.leftlanenews.com/nissan-gt-r-laps-nurburgring-in-7-minutes-29-seconds.html

Nissan has announced that its all-mighty GT-R has lapped Germany's Nurburgring in an astonishing 7 minutes 29 seconds. Godzilla originally ran around the famed track in 7 minutes 38 seconds but, thanks to dryer conditions, test driver Tochio Suzuki piloted the GT-R to a 9 second faster lap time. What makes the run even more impressive is that it was done on stock JDM tires.

"At last year's testing, we were frustrated by the conditions at the Nurburgring, always believing that the GT-R could go under seven minutes 30 seconds," said Kazutoshi Mizuno, Chief Vehicle Engineer for GT-R. "Below seven minutes 30 seconds, the GT-R proves it is among the fastest mass-production cars in the world."
That lap time places the GT-R ahead of the
Mercedes-Benz SLR 722 GT, Koenigsegg CCR and Porsche 997 GT2, and just one second behind the Porsche Carrera GT — not bad for a car down several ponies on each of the competitors. We can't wait to see where the GT-R V-Spec ranks.

Nissan GT-R V-Spec

A spy photographer has snapped photos of what appears to be a prototype for Nissan's long-rumored, long-promised GT-R V-Spec. Caught as it was unloaded off a truck at Nissan's Nürburgring workshop, this test car has some visual differences from a standard GT-R. The visible changes are certainly subtle, and not as far-reaching as some had expected, but the differences are present nonetheless, suggesting that Nissan's GT-R — which already leaves a Porsche 911 Turbo gasping in its wake — is being prepped to be even more formidable.
Nissan has also set a sub-7 minute 25 second Nürburgring goal for the GT-R V-Spec — 18 seconds faster than the current car.

Underhood, the GT-R V-Spec's turbocharged mill will see an increase in boost, raising output to 550 horsepower — up from the standard GT-R's 480 horsepower. In addition to the power boost, the V-Spec will also shed 330 pounds.

This test car gets a revised front splitter, which sports some additional air intake slits, presumably to feed more cooling air to the brakes. New six-spoke wheels also house what appear to be a revised braking system. The golden Brembo brake calipers were an ever-present feature even on the first GT-R prototypes, but they're a no-show on this tester. Could we be looking at an upgraded ceramic composite braking system?
With a curb weight of 3,836 pounds, the GT-R is no featherweight. And while the standard GT-R obviously overcomes any weight penalty in heroic fashion, it's compelling to imagine a GT-R that's some 300-plus pounds lighter. The V-Spec is rumored to shave at least that much weight thanks to the use of carbon fiber body panels, and other assorted techniques. The prototype photographed has a portion of its rear wing blacked-out, suggesting it is one of the carbon fiber pieces that will make up the V-Spec package.
Once this GT-R is fully prepped for testing duty we hope to get a closer look to assess any other weight-saving steps Nissan may have taken.

Dyno Chart 240SX S14 KA24DE w/ Greddy turbo kit

Well I'm not sure if you can say that this is a KA with the Greddy turbo kit, since the only thing left from the Greddy kit is the turbo and some of the pipes. The stock greddy kit is decent, but if you want to make more power, it's better to get something else.

Specs: 1996 Nissan 240SX KA24DE - Pauter Rods, CP Pistons Technosquare ROM Tune, 550 cc injectors, Walboro fuel pump, SARD FPR, Greddy TD06SH-18G, Greddy intercooler, custom 3 in downpipe with HFC, HKS Hi-power, 300Z MAF, MSD 6A, Tial External Wastegate.

16PSI, 301 wheel HP, 296 lb-ft, AFR 11.1 This is on a SuperFlow Dyno.

Nissan GT-R V-Spec 550hp, 330 pounds lighter

AutoExpress says that the GT-R V-Spec will pump out 550 horsepower from its 3.8 liter twin-turbo V6 and will actually weigh 300 pounds less than its 473 horsepower brother. The report says that Nissan will add a ‘wild’ bodykit with side skirts and splitters that will provide maximum downforce at high speeds. Inside, the GT-R will be stripped out to reduce weight; however the dash-mounted touchscreen will remain with even more advanced features.

Nissan’s engineers are targeting a Nurburgring time of 7 minutes and 25 seconds to break the circuit records. So expect massive amounts of spy shots from Nurburgring in the coming months.
The GT-R will cost £55,000 when it goes on sale in the UK in March 2009, and the V-Spec will add £20,000. The GT-R V-Spec will arrive in the UK before the end of 2009 and in the U.S. in the middle of 2010.

2009 GT-R Modifications

There's been a lot of articles surrounding Nissan's attempt to limit modifications to the new car and how the GPS system tracks whether you're on a race track and void warranties and stuff.
This article
from Motor Trend gives some detail on what has been done by the famous tuner MINE's and some of the restrictions Nissan has put on the car. Now keep in mind that the US spec car might or might not have these restrictions.
