The famous Japanese tuner Mines has taken to the Tsukuba circuit for a time attack in their brand new Nissan R35 GTR, managing a time of 1m 3.1s around the track. This places it in front of the Lamborghini Gallardo, which manages a 1m 3.6s time around the same track.This car has a reputation to live up to as the old Mines prepped R34 GT-R model achieved a 57.7s time around the circuit. But we’re sure that this car has great potential. Apparently the car was run with the VDC in the R setting instead of turned off and the car’s traction control was affecting its performance on the day.

Finally got the high flow cat I ordered from hottexhaust.com. 3" ID-11" Length 300 cell density Metallic Substrate Universal Catalytic Converter Magnaflow 59929 was what I got. I originally ordered the shorter one (8" length), but it never came. I finally called them yesterday (I ordered it on 11/12) they told me it was back ordered. The guy said he'd give me the 11" one for the same price. And I got it the next day after the phone call which was pretty cool.

Nissan GTR GT500 Super GT
TOKYO (Oct. 25, 2007) – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., and Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. (NISMO) today announced that the NISSAN GT-R will run in the GT500 class of the SUPER GT series in Japan for the 2008 season. It has been four years since the GT-R last competed in Japan , when it won the Japan GT Championship in 2003 . Private testing is planned to start soon in Japan.Details including vehicle specifications and team structure will be announced at the Nissan Motorsports Press Conference in February 2008.

2010 Nissan GT-R Spec V
It's official, there will be a 2010 Nissan GT-R Spec V and it will be sold in America. A Nissan source has confirmed that a lightweight, more powerful version of the new supercar is nearly complete and will arrive in America about a year after the GT-R hits U.S. dealers early next summer. Rumor it is priced around $95k.

Advan Racing TC II Wheels
I have owned numerous sets of aftermarket wheels to date; Nismo, Advan, Volk Racing, 5 Zigen, Racing Dynamic, and SSR. One thing I noticed with higher quality wheels is that it requires less weights to balance them. One of the lightest wheels available utilizing Cored Cavity Technology. 18" wheel is around 17 pounds. The original prototype was used on the 2000 HKS Altezza. Notice the single center lock nut on the prototype.

ION Performance 2 piece rotors for WRX
This was on a 2002 WRX, the ION Performance 2 piece rotors. The box it came in says KVR. Less than 1000 miles easy street driving later!!!!!
WTF! I was driving on the freeway when the bolts fell off. Imagine what would've happen if I had to step on my brake with a decent amount of force. Luckily, I figured out something was wrong and pulled off the freeway. At first, I thought something was wrong with the steering or suspension. I checked out my car, but found nothing. I got back in and drove slowly, but something was still wrong. I pulled over a second time, and finally saw what had happened. Long story short, I wanted a full refund from ION, but they denied me. The guy on the phone said, "You should go buy the lottery cause that has never happened before." They instead send me a pair of new ones.....Thanks a lot, do you expect me to put it on my car?
Only Endless, Project-mu, or Brembo for me from now on.

Sard Fuel Pressure Regulator 8mm fitting
One of the best Fuel Pressure Regulator available. Adjustable 200~800KPa or 2~8 kg/cm2. Now I should be able to run 16PSI and hit 300WHP with a conservative IDC.
I wanted one with the blue sticker, but my friend picked up a red one from Japan for me. Overall quality looks good. One disappointment was the L shaped nozzle on top. The finish is not as smooth as I expected from SARD.
